Hello, Lovely Ladies,
Welcome to my Blog!
My Today's card for The Spot Design Team project TheSpotChallenge#159.
For this week it's an Ink Blending Challenge. Challenges are always so much fun to play along with.
You can also take part in this weekly challenge.
I used Stampin' Up! Dragonfly Garden Stamp set. All the products from the New Annual Catalogue will be available from May 4th, 2021.
Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent are New In-colors. Both Stampin' Classic Ink and A4 Card stocks will be available in May4th 2021.
Measurements A4 Cardstock:
- Base card Evening Evergreen - New In color ( 29.7 by 21 cm scored @14.9cm )
- Layer 1: Evening Evergreen - 14.4 cm by 10 cm ( embossed using Tasteful Textile embossing folder )
- Layer 2: Soft Sea Foam 9.5 cm by 13.9 cm
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock - I used the Soft Sea Foam stampin' ink first on the top, I used our blending brush to bring the light shade to the card first.
- Next, I used Soft Succulent ( New In color ) next to Soft Sea Foam to give a little dark shade and finally used the Evening Evergreen Stampin' Classic Ink to give the dark shade to the bottom.
- Evening Evergreen -10 cm by 14.4 cm ( Inside )
- Soft Sea Foam - 9.7cm by 14.1cm ( Inside)
- Stamped the image using Momento Tuxedo black ink.
- Colored the flower using White Stampin' Chalk Marker to give white shade.
- I splattered some of the Frost White Shimmer Paint and Clear Wink of Stella to the background of the card.
- Added some of the new In-colors Jewels on top of the flower to give some glow.
- Stamped the sentiment using Evening Evergreen Stampin' Classic Ink on the Soft Sea Foam Cardstockon the die-cut piece.
- Decorated the Inside using simple stamping.
Your card is SO beautiful, Maheswari! The blended greens are just gorgeous, and the flowers are so pretty highlighted in chalk ink, with the gems added.
