I had so much fun creating this project using water colouring.
Here is my card for today's challenge:
You can also take part in their weekly challenge - #GDP381
Theme Challenge #TGIFC408 . You can also take part in this week's Challenge.
Procedure
- Base card - Fresh Freesia 10.5cm x 29.7cm scored@14.9cm, followed by the next layer Fresh Freesia 10cm x 14.4cm (embossed using the new 3D basics embossing folder)
- Fluid Watercolour paper -9cm x 12.4cm (watercoloured using Blushing Bride and Fresh Freesia)
- Once I finished the water colouring using the water painters, I allowed it to dry. Stamped the flower image to the background of the watercolour paper using Blushing Bride Ink.
- Splattered some of the Highland Heather Ink on top of the watercolour paper.
- Once the paper dried, distress the edge of the Fresh Freesia cardstock and the Watercolour Paper using Paper Snips scissors.
- Stamp the flower image using Smoky Slate and adhere it using Stampin' Dimensional. Stamped the sentiment on Highland Heather cardstock using Versamark Ink, White embossing powder and then used a heat tool to dry it.
- Attach the sentiment along with a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock underneath.
- Decorated the inside of the card using scrap pieces and stamped images.
