Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to My blog.
I am very excited and honoured to share my first project as one of The Spot Design Team member.
My Today's card for The Spot Challenge-#136 - Emboss Resist Technique.
I used Stampin' Up! ' Jar of flowers' for the image and ' Happiest of Birthdays' for the Sentiments.
I used the base card Smoky Slate followed by the layers Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, Whisper White and again Whisper White. I used Balmy blue first to Sponge and next Misty Moonlight ink to sponge the edge to give a border look of about 1 cm, then I stamped the Sunflower image using Versamark pad.
You can also take part in this weekly fun Challenge #136
Once I stamped, I added White Emboss Powder on the image then used the heat tool to melt the powder, once the powder melts it look colourless, to Pop the image from the white background I used sponge daubers , ink it up and sponge slightly and on the flowers using Stampin' Classic Balmy Blue ink, now you can see the flower image clearly on the Whisper White card, that's called Emboss Resist Technique.
I did the same Emboss Resist on the Flowers on Vase using Smoky Slate Stampin' ink and cut the flowers using Scissors. I used Night of Navy Cardstock and Old World paper 3D embossing folder for the Vase.
Then adhere it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Sentiment are stamped on Basic Black Cardstock and added using Stampin' Dimensionals.
